I do not have the photo taking gene. I have tried and tried but I cannot seem to do it. I would rather be in the moment and trust to my faulty memory to remember something.

That being said, I have tried periodically to train myself to take pictures. My most recent attempt was to buy a 5 megapixel digital before my last trip to Palau. I will also be scanning some of the older pictures that an old friend took. Akino definitely had the picture taking gene.
